Connecting to Bitrue exchange instructions
Step 1: Log in to your Redefind portal, and navigate to the report theft page. After reading the 'Claim Summary page' Click on the 'prove ownership' button. This will bring up a Vezgo connection widget.
Step 2: Click on 'Bitrue' inside the Exchanges section of the connection widget.
Step 3: Follow the below instructions to create your Bitrue exchange API Key & Secret Key. If you prefer, you can follow the instructions given by Bitrue on their website:
a) Log in to your Birtue account
b) On the homepage, navigate to your account (user icon in top right) and click on 'API 🔥'
c) Click on the yellow button 'Get API Key'
d) Name the API key whatever you wish (we name the key 'CoverCrypto' below) and click 'Create API Key'
e) Enter your 2FA code
f) Click on the link emailed to your registered email address (in the red box below)
g) Copy and paste your 'API Key' and 'Secret Key' as shown below, into the Vezgo widget shown within your CoverCrypto account.
*Note: make sure you copy these codes exactly, as the Secret Key won't be shown again. If lost you will need to repeat the above stages again.
📕 Please note
Do not select any of the other options in 'stage g', as this could pose a security risk for your exchange account if they key is compromised. Only select 'read-only' which is the default option already selected for you.
