Step 1: Log in to your Redefind portal, and navigate to the report theft page. After reading the 'Claim Summary page' Click on the 'prove ownership' button. This will bring up a Vezgo connection widget.
Step 2: Click on WalletConnect inside the Wallets section of the connection widget -> select the blockchain network you would like to connect to (EVM only) -> click on 'Open WalletConnect'
You can connect either a mobile wallet or desktop wallet via WalletConnect. Please see instructions below for each.
1) Connecting a mobile wallet
Open the mobile wallet you wish to connect -> find the WalletConnect scan icon (circled red in image 1 below) -> Scan the QR code displayed in your Redefind portal -> Press 'Connect' on the pop-up which appears on your mobile wallet (image 3 below).
Once your account is connected to Redefind, you can identify your theft transaction from the list of transactions shown and add them to your basket.

Your self-custody wallet will need to be compatible with WalletConnect to establish a connection.
Connecting a mobile wallet (when on your mobile)
If you are logged into your Redefind portal on your mobile device, and want to connect a wallet on the same device, you can follow these following instructions. Please note these instructions are for Metamask, but they apply to other mobile wallets.
2) Connecting a desktop wallet
If you would like to connect a desktop WalletConnect compatible wallet, click on the bottom right 'View All' option, and follow the instructions for the specific wallet you wish to connect via the image below. Then complete the same steps as outlined above after the connection is established
